Ah yes, both ghee and honey used individually and even better together have tremendous nutritive and elixir-like qualities. They go to the cellular level in every area of the body - even further - providing support at the mitochondrial level for many things including but limited to energy production.
Also thye each have a "carrier" effect acting like a catalyst if healing and supportive herbs and spices are added to them when ingested - the herbs and spices are enhanced and provide the body with even greater benefit.

Organic butter is preferred and as far as honey is concerned, best to use locally cultivated honey - unfiltered and unheated (raw) so as to avail oneself of the pollen of the area in which one resides - thus reducing allergy symptoms people experience in the Spring, Summer and Autumn months.

hi tony,i am from india and in india ghee is eaten in every household!by far and large atleast 1 tbsp full of ghee is eaten by every individual...but yes not mixed with honey.may be that is the main difference.
though these days all the Dr.are also telling people to not have ghee and butter for health reason.....as it is considered to be fattening.
take care and have a good day.
