Hi Jon!

You’re most welcome. With writing and finding that “substitute” for the word “I,” it depends on many things. Thus, there isn’t really a hard answer. More often than not, it’s more than merely substituting a word; it’s re-envisioning the entire part or piece or work.

A common tenet that good writers follow is to “show, not tell.” That means that instead of telling the reader that a character is, say, a thief, a good writer would show that in the character’s actions, speech, how other characters respond to him and act around him. It’s similar to the “I” thing. You may have to rethink the point you wish to make and go about it a different way.

Generally, I hit the “meaning” of each exercise at the end of my monologues during the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars — http://www.tuneinunlockattain.com. Please have a look — and a listen!

I attempt to give each exercise a dual meaning: one in the overall sense in the context of the Master Key System and the other in the practical sense taking the exercise in and of itself.
