Understanding Why “They” Make It

What’s the difference between someone who “makes it” — that is, someone who gets what they want out of life and is what we would call successful — and someone who doesn’t?

I’m sure that you ask that question fairly often. I know that I do!

Is it talent?

Intelligence?

Courage?

An “X” factor?

Let’s see. While all of those are helpful, I don’t think that any one of them — or even all of them together — tell the full story.

There are plenty of talented people who won’t “make it.” Frankly, all we have to do is look at what’s on TV sometimes and it’s very easy to come to the realization that actual talent might be pretty low on the list.

The same is true for intelligence. Sure, being smart is good and even desireable, but it’s not a golden ticket to the good life. Far too many times I’ve seen it hinder people rather than help them!

I think that courage is higher on the list. Once again, though, for every “Donald Trump” out there getting face time on the news or “Richard Branson” performing an outlandish stunt, there are probably ten or more “shy” people who are quietly “making it” and living the life of their dreams.

What about an “X” factor — that unknown or undescribale element that we see in some people. Sometimes it’s amazing talent or skill and other times it’s a personal thing, like incredible charm or the “gift of gab.”

The “X” factor does play a role, without a doubt. Not everyone can thrill a crowd or attract our attention like many of the people we see on the news, especially in the entertainment world.

Again, though, it doesn’t tell the full story. Behind the scenes there is the hard work, the talent, and all the other factors that got the person to where they are.

So what is it? What is the difference between the people who “make it” and those who don’t?

The people who make it understand.

Yes, they may have one or more of the items we listed. The deciding factor in “making it” comes from their understanding.

What do they understand?

They understand how “it” works. They understand how to take the things around them and use their abilities to create what they want. They understand the nature of things, especially the things that impact their business, craft, or vocation.

Understanding is not merely knowldege. It’s definitely not rules or dogma or convention. It’s absolutely not rote processes or methods.

It’s sort of like “seeing.” When a person understands, they have a complete — or as close to it as possible — view of what they’re doing and how it interacts with everything around it.

Here’s an example: I’m certain that at some point in your life you replaced the air filter in your car. It’s an easy thing to do. However, do you understand what the air filter does? How it works? Why it’s there? Why you need to replace it? What it does for the car?

Yes, some of that is merely knowldege, but taken together it makes understanding.

And that’s why your mechanic can charge you a small fortune for even the slightest repair on your car!

With this one example I am sure you can see why — and perhaps even how — this idea of understanding is so important to you and your life.

That’s why The Master Key System is so important — because it provides you a way to truly acquire this understanding. That’s why Charles F. Haanel’s Complete Master Key Course is so awesome — because it imparts an entire philosophy that fosters the growth of understanding within you.

That’s also why the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars are so popular — and why I will continue to provide them to you free of charge. They bring to you a way to truly understand Mr. Haanel’s philosophy of success and then apply it to your life in a way that will work best.

Staying the Course with the Master Key System

I don’t know if you know this, but we’ve reached episode #20 in the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars. We just reviewed and discussed Week Sixteen of The Master Key System.

This is a significant achievement.

You see, most people don’t make it halfway through The Master Key System.

Frankly, most people don’t even make it that far.

Most stop by Week Four.

Of course, there are sundry reasons: life interrupts; people get busy with other things; or something new and shiny comes along.

Whatever the reason, it’s sad.

You see, I’ve been studying The Master Key System for about fifteen years. I’ve been publishing it for over ten years. Through all that time, I’ve seen amazing things happen because of an intelligent application of all that the book teaches.

I began with nothing — NOTHING! — and now I not only publish all of the books by Charles F. Haanel, I also publish over a dozen others — with more on the way!

I’ve had books translated and published in so many countries that I can barely count them. China. Japan. India. Russia. Germany.

I’ve been blessed to meet and work with some of the most amazing people you can imagine — from Master Key Coaching clients to fellow publishers like Tracey Jones at Tremendous Life Books.

And more great things are on the way. (Stay tuned!)

I’m not the only one applying Haanel‘s ideas and methods, though. Other people are as well — and they are being greatly rewarded.

One person became debt-free, secured over $100,000 in capital, and opened her own practice. All in under ONE YEAR!

Another person built her dream business — a beautiful bed & breakfast.

Yet another person saved their business from collapsing and then went on to double their profits.

A fellow we coached in Haanel’s methods got his dream job.

The stories I’ve heard and the things I’ve seen would make your head spin.

But they all come down to one thing: Committment.

Are you willing to commit to learning this “stuff”?

More importantly, are you willing to commit to applying it?

The Master Key Coaching Teleseminars are being delivered to help you do just that. I’m doing them so you can get a thorough understanding of Haanel’s philosophy and then apply it intelligently.

And they have been, they are, and they will continue to be absolutely free — both to participate live during the call and then to download later.

Even with all this opportunity — from the free Master Key to free coaching — most people drop out. They don’t commit.

Instead, they look for something new. They continue on their fool’s quest for the “silver bullet.”

You should keep in mind what Haanel wrote in Week Fourteen.

27. If you enter into the discipline necessary to bring about a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately, after giving the matter careful thought and full consideration, and then you must allow nothing to interfere with your decision.

When you make the decision to do something, you have to follow-through completely!

This also highlights something about which I wrote an article many “moons” ago: that the “Master Key” is you.

It’s not something outside you, nor is it something that is separate from you. In the final analysis the Master Key is you and you alone. It is the power of your thoughts, your actions, your perceptions, and your will.

Far too many people quest for something — anything! — to come to their aid, to bring them what they want, to use like a tool.

When you finally come to understand this philosophy, though, you will know that it is you for whom you were looking and no other person or thing.

Commit yourself to attaining your dreams. Commit to learning this wonderful system of self-mastery.

You can do it.

Because you can be what you will to be.

How to Set Your Thoughts into Motion: Using the Silence

We set our thoughts into motion by seeking the Silence.

This week in the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars (please click that link so you can download all seven episodes!), I spoke a bit about the “Silence,” which Haanel described as the place where we find our true power. This is the place where one can truly set his thoughts into motion because it is here that he develops his goals, creates his vision, forges his plans, and readies his actions.

The Silence is where we partake in that “hardest of work”: Thinking.

As I wrote in The Master Key Workbook:

Thought is the secret to all attainment. This is because when we think, we set into motion the law of vibration, which carries our thoughts so that they can become reality. The law of love, which works through the emotions, gives these thoughts vitality.

Your level of belief will influence how quickly your dreams become reality. Look at it this way: When you believe that something is easily attainable, then you step quickly to attain that desire. On the other hand, when you believe that what you want is “out of your reach” or a “pipe dream,” then you stall and stutter on your way, which either drastically slows your journey or impedes it completely.

We set our thoughts into motion by seeking the Silence. It is in the Silence that we can be still, and when we are still, we can think, and thought is the secret to all attainment.

As we think something more and more and see it clearer and clearer, it finally becomes automatic in our mind. We really know what we think. It moves from being a mere thought to a fact. “We are sure; we know.”

The exercises in The Master Key System teach us how to use the Silence, but we must make the effort to find the Silence first. Those who do not are depriving themselves of the place where they will find and develop their thoughts.

Do your best to enter the Silence at least once per day — either in the morning or at the end of the day.

Without distractions, without clutter, without “noise,” you will discover something perhaps you’ve never experienced: yourself.

Tune in, Unlock, and Attain with the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars

There is a new web site in town.

Since I started doing weekly teleseminars — the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars — I built a web site where you can download and/or subscribe to the podcasts of the calls and comment on what was discussed.

You’ll find that web site at

www.tuneinunlockattain.com

I am very excited with these calls. In our first week, we had at one point sixty people on the call! About five people asked some very good questions — and I think I gave good answers. Give the call a listen and let me know what you think.

I plan to do these calls every Monday at 8:05 pm EST into the foreseeable future. As long as people come to listen and ask questions, I’ll do them. So please, if you have the time and/or if the time is convenient for you, join the call.

If you are unable to join the call because of scheduling conflicts or you’re in a very different time zone, then please download the audio file. You can still take part by leaving a comment. You can ask a question, make a comment, or even just say hello.

Once again, the web site is www.tuneinunlockattain.com.

Oh, to answer the question you may be asking yourself, the web site is that name because at the heart of it all, that’s what we’re learning to do here. We’re learning how to tune in to the power within ourselves. We’re learning how to unlock that power and use it. We’re doing those things so that we can attain the things (goals) that we want.

Join the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars Every Monday at 8:05 pm EST!

To join the call to listen and/or to ask a question, dial -

Phone number: 1-218-862-1300

Conference Code: 183292

Please let me know if I can be of service to you. All the BEST!

Have fun … Tony.

Let’s Talk! Announcing the Master Key Coaching Teleseminars

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the very first Master Key Coaching Teleseminar. Many people have asked for this — a few even demanded it! — so here it is.

We will be conducting the calls weekly beginning on Monday, July 26 at 8:05 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time). The call should last about an hour and will include a short monologue by me followed by an open question and answer session.

To join the call to listen and/or to ask a question, dial this phone number -

1-218-862-1300

then enter the Conference Code -

183292

The topic of the first call will be an introduction to The Master Key System: What it is, what it isn’t, and how to use it to attain your goals.

I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know you over the course of these calls. In the meantime, here are a few more questions I received about these teleseminars.

Do these teleseminars replace your Master Key Coaching Program?

No. Not at all. The Master Key Coaching Program is one-on-one personal coaching. It’s the difference between taking a class and asking a question during class to having a personal tutor or meeting the teacher after class for one-on-one time. It’s the difference between working out with a group and hiring a personal trainer. In both cases, the latter is more effective, more intense, and you’ll get more out of it. Of course, it also requires much more commitment.

In other words, the Master Key Coaching Program and the Master Key Teleseminars are two different animals.

Click here to learn more about the Master Key Coaching Program.

Are you planning on having webinars?

Yes, we are. The Head Coach for the Master Key Coaching Program, James Spooner, will be running those. They will begin about two weeks after these teleseminars begin.

Can I ask any question at all during the call?

The calls will run like this: We’ll open the call and I will deliver a ten to twenty minute monologue. The topic of the monologue will be about a key point in The Master Key System, an observation I had with a Master Key Coaching client, something like that. I think that you’ll find them interesting and informative.

After that monologue, we’ll go into the questions and answers. I ask that the questions be “limited” to what the main topic of the evening is. For example, if we’re discussing something in “Week Two,” I don’t think it would be helpful to entertain questions pertaining to “Week Twenty-Two.” Does that make sense?

As many of you know, I’m pretty flexible with things. I am here to be a resource for you, so just about everything is fair game. I will do my best to accomodate everyone, answer all questions, and do both in a timely and efficient manner.

Will these calls be available as a download?

Yes, they will. I plan to make them available in two parts for you to download: the monologue and the question and answer session.

They will be available about one week after the call. I will provide a link to the web site where they will be hosted.

Can I invite my friends onto the call?

Sure! The more the merrier. :-)

In case you’re wondering why 8:05 pm EST: It has been my experience that if something is scheduled on the hour, then a fairly large percentage of people are late. So, to help people a little bit, I am beginning the call at 8:05 pm.

You just remember to be there at 8 sharp!

I look forward to “seeing” you on the call. It will be fun!
